Hi Shannon, I just wanted to say thanks again for being there when we, mostly me ;), really needed help. Breastfeeding is going really well. My nipples have healed and I am no longer complaining of pain. I feel like my baby and I are still getting to know each other, however, now I don't have to focus so mucho learning to breastfeed, it is just happening :)

A Couple of Things I Want You to Know...
Shannon, as you know I had you come to my home to support me with breastfeeding my third child. I thought that by child number three I would know what I was doing, however, similar to my first two children I encountered challenges.
You assured me that each child is different, each breastfeeding experience is different, that each of my challenges could be solved, and that all of my questions could be answered. I want you to know that the way you empowered me and the support you provided me was like no other experience I had in the past with lactation support. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Shannon.

We are doing it!
We are doing it! Exclusively breastfeeding, with the occasional bottle here and there, but that's my choice now :) You came highly recommended by my midwife group and I am so thankful for their wonderful suggestion. I honestly don't know how we went from exclusively bottle feeding to now exclusively breastfeeding. Thanks a ton for helping us out.

Exclusively Breastfeeding
I wanted to write you a quick note to say thank you so much! Amelie is, and has been, exclusively breastfeed since you visited us. I didn't think it was possible as we were stuck on pumping and bottle feeding.
As a physician, who will go back to work at 6 months, I also appreciated all of your insight as to how I can continue breastfeeding once I go back to work.
I didn't think that would be possible, however, I absolutely see how it is now.

Problem Solved
Hi Shannon. On your recommendation, Marissa had her frenectomy done and I immediately felt a difference when I nursed her afterwards. Just wanted to say thank you for identifying the root cause of our breastfeeding issues (tongue tie) and also for your support and encouragement. Marissa's weight is up and my nipples are healing well.

Breastfeeding Success Story
Hello Shannon. We met about a year ago when I was expecting my second baby after having supply issues with my first. We also had a postpartum consult when my little one was a few days old. I wanted to tell you that she just turn a year old last week and thanks to your help she was exclusively breastfed until she began solids and six months. I never would have thought we could avoid needing to supplement but we did it. (This also marks one year of tandem nursing with my 3 year old). Thank you.

Hi Shannon, I just wanted to follow up with you, and thank you for all your help with breastfeeding. Jack is 11 weeks now, and I was just thinking how good the feeding is going, and wanted to let you know.
I breastfeed him pretty much exclusively now, and he is gaining tons of weight, the doctor was impressed given his slow start. I was so overwhelmed with it, I wanted to quit many times, and really thought that he would be a formula baby. Your help made all the difference so thank you!!
